What's New?

I've been blogging for about 5 years and in November, 2012 I began this Blog - The Comfort of a Safe Place.  Perhaps you will remember me from Jan & Tom's Place, Rose Haven or Always Designing.  I really am enjoying this Blog and my Bell's Palsy Blog, which is also new, since Fall 2012.

I'm Jan...If you look over on my Side-Bar, you
can read all About Me.  Links to my Facebook Page,
Pinterest, Twitter, my Bell's Palsy Blog
and YouTube Videos are there too.

Some of the things I love doing in my spare time are - crocheting, sewing, jewelry design, making Rosaries, cooking and baking (trying out new recipes), Pinning and Pinterest, Designing my Blog and helping others with their Blogs, Interior Design work and caring for our Pups.

Please, check my Navigation Bar up at the top,
under my Banner...I have some important features there,
that you may want to check out - and yes, they do sometimes change!

Now, I'd like to share a few of my Favorite Posts
on my Blog, so you can get to know me
and see what I'm all about.

One of my all time favorite posts
and one that is near and dear to my ♥
is of my oldest son, Stephen
and his wedding to Lindsey.
They make a beautiful couple.

After much work on Stephen's part,
They married in June of 2010 in Wisconsin.

You can see their Dream Wedding post,
HERE.

I love going on Home Tours and touring the DeVilbiss Mansion  in Toledo, Ohio was no exception.   At the time, Mr CSP and I were looking  into fulfilling our dream of being B&B Owners.  Although this Mansion needed considerable work, at the price it was listed, it would have been an incredible value.  Take a look for yourself HERE.

Essential Oils have played
a big part in my life - with aromatherapy,
Raindrop Treatment, massages,
Reiki and making my own massage oils.
I not only use them myself, Mr CSP does too.
And, of course, our 3 pups love having me
use the oils on themselves.
Read about it HERE.

If you are in need of Prayer, please, leave a comment or contact me through the Link on my Tab Bar under my Banner.  I have a Prayer ♥ List on my Side-Bar - where I only put the person's name who needs Prayer and a Link to their Blog.  As I browse Blogs, if I see someone struggling, or someone who is asking for Prayer, I add them to my List.  I pray daily over the Prayer List.  The only thing I ask is to get updates from the people on the Prayer List.  It's wonderful having the privilege to pray for others and very moving to hear the results of our Prayers!

  12. DEBORAH HAMILTON - You said you'd appreciate my visit to your blog, but I couldn't find it...no link.

I had no way of commenting back to you, so in the event you return here, I wanted to say that I appreciated your visit today.

And Yes, I did know that Nancy Zieman has Bell's Palsy - she got it in the 50's when she was about 1yr old, from an ear infection. It just never went away.
