Yummy Decadent Valentine's Day Dessert
ANGEL LUSH CAKE
***I love this cake - it's simple and easy, especially with a store-bought Angel Food Cake. I change it up with REAL Whipping Cream, instead of Cool Whip Whipped Topping (1 cup), like the original recipe calls for.***
1 pkg (3.4oz) JELL-O Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix
1 can (20oz) Crushed Pineapple in Juice, undrained
2 cups whipping cream, whipped
10oz angel food cake, cut into 3 layers
10 small strawberries
Mix dry pudding mix and pineapple with juice in a medium bowl. Gently stir in the whipped topping. Cut cake horizontally into 3 layers. Stack the cake layers on a plate, spreading pudding mixture between layers and on top of cake (not on the sides). Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until ready to serve. Makes 10 servings. Decorate with whole or sliced strawberries.
I agree with Barbara, this looks AND sounds heavenly. What's not to like? I'll take two slices, please. :) A little birdie told me that there is something headed your way via snail mail so be on the lookout. ;) I couldn't resist.
